- Perform bookkeeping duties including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately input financial data.
- Assist with tax preparation and payroll processing.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in technical accounting procedures.
- Experience with tax regulations and payroll processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial report writing.
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheets.
Note:
A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
Relevant work experience will be considered.
