Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering employee growth and development, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that align with the company's goals and enhance employee performance.
Key
Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, design, and develop learning programs that address those needs.
Ensure programs support employee development and meet organizational objectives.
Training Delivery:
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning events both in-person and virtually.
Provide engaging and effective training to employees at all levels, from new hires to seasoned professionals.
Curriculum Design:
Create and maintain training materials, curriculum, and resources, including e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, and documentation to support training programs.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop assessment tools and methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve learning initiatives.
Learning Technologies:
Stay current with learning technologies and trends, recommending and implementing e-learning platforms and tools to enhance the learning experience.
Compliance and Regulatory Training:
Ensure that all training programs meet industry and regulatory compliance standards relevant to the manufacturing sector.
Performance Support:
Provide ongoing support to employees, offering resources, coaching, and guidance to help them apply what they've learned in their roles.
Collaboration:
Work closely with department managers and team leaders to understand specific departmental training needs and provide tailored solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and completion.
Generate reports to track training progress and outcomes.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about the latest trends in training and development by attending conferences, workshops, and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or associate degree in human resources, organizational development, or education preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in learning and development or education setting.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Experience with e-learning software and learning management systems (LMS).
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the manufacturing sector a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
A passion for continuous learning and development.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
