Role Description Climashield is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operator to join our team.
The Maintenance Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the continous operation and optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities will include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
This role will collaborate with the production team to minimize down time and contribute to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities Quality - Assist in or execute modifications, adjustments, or repairs to ensure the production of high-quality products.
Machinery and Equipment - Perform routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Replace belts, pulleys, gears, motors, and other parts as necessary.
Execute changes and modifications to machinery and equipment as directed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment manuals, spare parts inventory, and issue frequency.
Operations - Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on criticality.
Efficiently restore equipment to operational status in the shortest possible time.
Report to work on short notice during off-duty hours when a production line is down.
Train line workers in various aspects of maintenance.
Provide training to production operators on basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
Collaboration - Assist fellow workers with their duties as needed.
Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient use of hand and power tools.
Technical or trade school certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Reliable means of transportation to and from work.
