Product Development Engineer
The Product Development Engineer functions in an Engineering Department comprised of a team of associates in which the rapid development of highly featured, high value products is required. The department is comprised of two sections:
New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, and Design Verification/Validation. New products are developed through concurrent engineering practices, requiring department members to understand critical inter-relationships between different departments. The ability to make sound design decisions based on product knowledge and manufacturing processes is key. The development staff is required to be self-motivated, working with minimal supervision, while achieving high quality end results.
o Lead the design development reviews with Designers, Manufacturing, Industrial Design, Quality, Service and Other stakeholders as needed. The reviews include concept/alternate designs, DFM/DFA, conduct FMEA's and track progress of design and final acceptance.
o Development and creation of CAD solid models, utilizing Unigraphics, from product development knowledge and/or Design Team input.
o Development and creation of end-product drawings and specifications accurately defining requirements of design intent.
o Perform tolerance stack-up and analysis of components and assemblies, utilizing geometric tolerancing standards and practices. Support production with on-line troubleshooting and de-bugging during pilot and after release to production.
o Establish Lab, Application and Reliability test plans. Prepare task request, with required documentation, for work in Lab tests, Application tests and the model shop.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of design experience. CAD experience-Unigraphics, Pro/E or AutoCAD.
Some travel is requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
