Senior CAD Designer
The Senior CAD Designer functions in an Engineering Department as a team member responsible for managing the development of highly featured, high value products as required. Advanced training in 3D CAD programs. Unigraphics NX 6 or above preferred. Pro/E / Creo, Catia, or Solid Works. Working knowledge of, and application of GD&T principles.
o Creation of accurate new product design layout/assembly.
o Provide and manage detail drawings for development of new products(s).
o Manage the assembly models in CAD
o Support drawing and design reviews such as Design Review efforts.
o Communicate effectively with factory in development of prototypes.
o Communicate effectively with Design/Project Leader as necessary in development of new products
o Support production with on-line troubleshooting and de-bugging during pilot and after release to production
Requirements:
Associate Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Three (3) to Five (5) years design experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication & processes/equipment, casting, injection molding, and finishing techniques beneficial.
This is a Direct Hire position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
