Information Technology Manager

Job Introduction Job Profile The IT Manager is responsible to oversee Eagle Bend's Information Technology (IT) department including Microsoft Networks, ADP & eTime, Personal Computers, Cell phones and related peripheral equipment in compliance with Magna IT standards Major Responsibilities Direct and coordinate the activities of the Information Technology team Establish and maintain company standards for hardware and software Provide direction in choosing and implementation of new systems Manage network activities in compliance with Magna IT standards Develop a vendor database to provide support services to the IT department Act as liaison between system users and software provider Computerize manual systems and processes Ensure proper backup, security, and file maintenance of IT systems Perform system software upgrades & custom program requests as required Manage daily IT tasks and oversee Helpdesk support for system users Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for IT system users Ensure system security, data integrity, and control for multiple users of the system Setup and installation of new equipment; train users in operation of hardware and software as needed Recommend/purchase hardware, software and support services for IT department Administer employee performance evaluations & enforce company policy in accordance with the Magna Employee's Charter Help manage Key Operating Indicators (KOI's) which measure performance to Business Plan, TS16949 standards, government regulations and Mafact compliance Automate manual systems and processes Housekeeping and other activities as assigned Knowledge and Education Bachelor's Degree in IT field preferred Network, Server, and IT related certification preferred High school graduate or equivalent required   Work Experience 5-7 years of experience in IT / Manufacturing field preferred Management of mainframe applications in a multi-user environment Skills and Competencies Hardware and software troubleshootingexperience Set-up and implementation of data collection programs SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection), Query, Menu Generation Experience with all Microsoft Office applications MRP or MRP II system installation experience Ability to program in Visual Basic, SQL Management of applications in a multi-user environment set-up and implementation of data collection programs Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issue to prompt & satisfactory resolution Group Policy Object (GPO) creation and management experience Ability to read/write common scriptinglanguages (Powershell, Bash, Python, PHP, SQL) System and product life-cycle management experience Windows & Linux server security & maintenance experience Network, storage, virtualization and cloud systems design, architecture and implementation Familiarity with Ansible configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, etc. accepted alternatives), processes and procedures Windows, Server security, maintenance, upgrades, installations, wired and wireless network configuration Knowledge of both a LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) Managing multiple VLAN Individual must have extensive PC and networking knowledge with current windows desktop and server system administration Ability to evaluate system capabilities, install and operate MRP system in a manufacturing environment Individual should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as patience with novice system users Ability to work additional hours as needed with the potential on call during off shift hours Ability to move throughout the plant in a timely manner. Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending. Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. may be required Ability to ascend and descend a 10 foot ladder Loud work environment; compliance with personal protective equipment as required COS06243

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
